Shoogleit.com is a website that allows you to add interactivity to your short videos. With shoogleit.com you can create interactive 360 photography, online catwalks, slow motions, interactive demos, time-lapse and stop motion animations.
It is free to use and you can embed your interactive videos into facebook, ebay, blogs and websites.
I would love to hear what you think about the website, also what do you think about the user interface?
Any comment is welcome.
The application is great, I can think at a million ways to improve for example an e-commerce web site with it.
Some things about the homepage seem wrong, your tagline doesn't really stand out, I would try to change color and type - maybe red and a clean, graphic sans serif font, with the tagline in the alt attribute.
The internal application is a bit confusing, I had 2 dialogs one over the other trying to tell me something.
If I click sign in, sign me in, you already have a conversion, get the data and don't start any trial or whatever.
Very interesting app BTW.
I love the idea it's so cool especially for clothing to be sold online.
I see the biggest commercial use for this will be for fashion industry and you can easily charge a fee for using their logo instead of yours . I believe you've built it in Flex which is why it takes some time to display which might be an issue for eCommerce sites:
My suggestions:
1- Change the name it's hard to spell and remember
2- Find a way to make loading file faster. E.Commerce shoppers might not want to wait 30 seconds every time. Being Flex Developer I suggest loading other images on the fly so at least initial loading fast and then load images in the background.
Otherwise, it's beautiful idea and I think it will be popular.
Great, Thanks for the suggestions.
The name is a Scottish word meaning "to shake, sway, or rock back and forth n, a rocking motion; shake". We like it because it represents what we do. We are not worried about people forgetting the spelling as Google auto corrects most of the misspellings, something like flickr.
As for the loading time, our software is only 90kB in size and our interactive movies are around 0.5-1.5MB, that is like loading a 2-10 second youtube video. So we are not too worried about the loading time. Here in the UK it takes 1-2 seconds to load a shoogle.
Many Thanks again for your suggestions.
