Wow haha. I really didn't know what to expect from this but it sure beat my expectations. I was expecting a crap-iphone-joke site or something and that's totally not what this is. Bravo!

My first response after seeing the site is... "What is up with the name JokeyPhone???" I do not get what the Phone part has to do with it yet. Maybe I've missed some key feature but so far I don't get it.

I LOVE the layout and design. It is clean, uncluttered, well-organized, and (contrary to what I expected) devoid of ads! Again, bravo!

Very cool that I can capture my joke right from my webcam. Love that.
I really like that the joke videos start playing right away when you get to the site. It lets me know immediately what is going on.

Probably the best part is that a few of the jokes actually made me LOL. That's a great sign.

There is a layout problem for me on the channels page. In FF 3.5 on OSX (MacBookPro 15") the page has to scroll horizontally. The Sign-in/Register box is off to the right side of the page hanging out in space. The background on the "Channels Are Easy" image also looks a bit out of place to me compared to the rest of the site.

The same problem w/the layout exists on the "Competitions" page. I assume that page is unfinished since it actually has the "Channels Are Easy" help/banner image at the top and there aren't any competitions. Interested to see what you do with that page.

I guess my main question from a startup/business perspective is "how are you going to make money" I did see what looked like an ad on some of the interior pages (but not on the landing page which is great) but I'm not sure if those ads alone will be enough?

Your create a new account page doesn't look really good to me. I think it's because you're centering all the boxes. Instead, I'd suggest you put them in divs (or tables) and left align the labels then right align the boxes...actually...maybe just left align the boxes to each other, not with the labels.

I don't like your scroll box for the Terms and Conditions. I think it would be sufficient to provide a link and have it popup. When I typed in my password, I got a box wrapping it stating that it wasn't secure enough...I liked it..except for it was a bit disorganized and the box didn't seem to wrap around the password label/textbox really nicely...it's overlapping.

OUCH!!! You sent me my password over email. Please don't do that...never send passwords over email. Instead, have a "forgot password" link on your site. You already have a "send me a new password" so no need to send my pass through email. This really made me feel that your site is not very secure...why do you know my password? That should be encrypted.

The "Script" section was blank in a joke and I was really confused as to what it was, perhaps if there's no content add a line explaining what it is and how I can be the first one to enter content.

I like the easy to use navigation and the cool video display. Good looking graphics and nicely organized.

Forgot to mention that I literally LOL ... great site!

Thanks Jmaite, and Brian.. we're working on the log in and will have a user profile page up that's going to let you customize your profile and jokes... Brian, the phone is the passing along part and the very cool phone apps that we are going to unveil in a week or so. I like your password comment and I'll pass it along to Jeremy who runs all that here, and also the part about being off center, I'm a dumb comic, don't have an answer, I am going to pass that along too..

Awesome, can't wait to see what you have in store for us.

I like the set up. I really like the fact that all the buttons move when they are selected. The layout is easy to understand. Only wish there was some way to have the jokes I have heard marked or skipped somehow.

Is there anyway you can switch out the main site screenshot, it it waits ten seconds a face will be in there and it will explain it better... thanks Mike

Just for you I have upgraded our account with the service we use to get the screenshots so I can set a custom delay. I have set the delay to 20seconds and have submitted a request to have your site screenshot refreshed.

I had to submit a(nother) support ticket to that service to get them to kick their servers and run my job. I submitted a request over 7 hours ago and it still hasn't updated the image that I can see. :-(
