Simply enter the URL of your site, enter a Search Query, and the SERP Analyser will tell you the position of your site in that search. It can also tell you which sites are associated with yours, the PageRank™ value of the linking site, and whether the associated page has a Direct or Dynamic link.
Does it work?
If not then what browser where you using?
Is it useful?
Any suggestions?
Okay, it works, but the UI seems to trade good looks for high functionality. I'm not sure what the three icons to the left of the search result mean. One is the ranking, but the other two?
For now, I'm sticking with the Rank Checker extension. However, Rank Checker is vulnerable -- if you could come up with something that looks this good, but has Rank Checker's functionality (and plays nicely with Excel reports), you might end up with something you could charge money for!
It seems to work fine for me in my browser. Is it useful? Meh... I'm pretty sure there are quite a few of these out there already and I don't see anything that sets yours apart. The interface is fairly simple and the site isn't overpowered with ads so I guess that's good.
Not sure on that background image. It seems irrelevant. I'd also suggest you pre-populate the various form fields with example values that are cleared onfocus. Something like "google.com" and "search engine" or whatever makes sense.
It would be useful if maybe you could set up a monitoring service that would follow your site's progress on a set of keywords so you can see how you're doing overtime. I assume there are already services out there for that though as well.
