Terms of Service

By using the launchly web site (the site) currently located at www.launchly.com, or any page, section, subsection or subdirectory thereof, and any other additional, substitute or successor site, (collectively hereinafter referred to as “The Site”), a service of Launchly, Inc., you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service").

Basic Terms

  1. You must be 13 years or older to use The Site.
  2. You are responsible for any and all activity that occurs under your account.
  3. You may not attempt to launch a site that you do not own the rights to. Do not launch sites that you do not own without permission from someone with rights to that site.
  4. You may not attempt to launch any site that contains pornographic or otherwise inappropriate material. Doing so will result in deactivation of the launch and voiding of any money-back guarantees.
  5. You may not launch a site for the SOLE purpose of advertising. You must sincerely be interested in obtaining feedback about your web application or site.
  6. You understand that your launch is only as effective as you make it. You must interact with The Site's users to get valuable feedback. If you do not create a dialog with them, you will most likely not get much feedback on your launch.
  7. You may not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate other users in comments, forums, or other means.
  8. Some feedback you may get using this service may not be nice and may not be what you want to hear. You must not respond negatively to such feedback as ALL feedback is valuable. Flame-wars between site launchers and users will not be tolerated.
  9. You may not provide fake feedback on your own launch. You may only reply to feedback that is provided to you.
  10. You are solely responsible for your conduct and for any data, text, information, graphics, images, audio and video clips that you submit, post, or display on the site.
  11. You must not modify, adapt, or hack the site or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the site.
  12. You must not, in using the site, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including, but not limited to, copyright laws).
  13. Your site must not be created using the Django web framework. Obviously I'm not serious about this... or am I? :-) No, seriously, use Rails instead.

Violation of any of these aforementioned Basic Terms may will in termination of your launchly account and/or launch at our sole discretion. While launchly prohibits such conduct and content on its site, you understand and agree that Launchly, Inc. cannot be responsible for the Content posted on its web site and you nonetheless may be exposed to such materials. Use launchly at your own risk.

In consideration for being allowed use of The Site, you hereby fully release and discharge CafeCourses, Inc. and their heirs, affiliates, attorneys, agents, shareholders, officers, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, known and unknown, which you have or may have, in any way directly or indirectly arising out of your use of The Site.

General Conditions

  1. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the launchly service for any reason, without notice, at any time.
  2. launchly reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
  4. We may, but are under no obligation to, remove content and accounts providing content that we deem, in our sole discretion, to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, libelous, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or that violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
  5. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on them.
